TAP Client The Broadview Hotel featured in Air Canada enRoute

Tatar Art Projects is pleased to announce that the Broadview Hotel has been featured in Air Canada enRoute. TAP was responsible for developing and executing an art program for the public areas and guest rooms in the hotel. Drawing inspiration from the building’s rich history, TAP tapped local artists to create cheeky and spirited artworks.

Artist Rob Baytor was engaged by TAP to repurpose the historic building’s decommissioned fire escape. The finished product now clads the hotel lobby’s elevators in a nod to the building’s storied past.

Layers of grandeur, grit and award-winning conservation form a unified narrative in this boutique hotel

TAP also looked to the local reference library to cull historical images of the neighbourhood which were interspersed with the commissioned works. The result is an art program that reflects a deep respect for the past while looking confidently towards the future.
