Our small team of talented luxury Art Consultants is seeking a Studio Manager with exceptional project management skills and the ability to think several steps ahead.

As Studio Manager, you will oversee a team of exceptional Art Consultants working with luxury hotels, resorts, residences and public art spaces around the world. This critical role ensures seamless delivery of our art consultancy services and deliverables for our luxury hospitality clients, much like a flight control tower operator guiding planes to their destinations.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Primary Responsibilities

• Orchestrate schedules, workload distribution, and priorities for Senior Art Consultants working with 5-star hospitality venues across North America, Asia, and the Middle East, ensuring each project is on course and potential obstacles are anticipated and avoided

• Oversee active hospitality art projects and client requests while coordinating internally with Art Consultants from RFP submissions to project implementation, navigating complex timelines and budgets with the precision of a chess master

• Develop clear roadmaps to coordinate long- and short-term project deliverables, artist research, timelines, budgets, and installations, always thinking several moves ahead

• Direct day-to-day management of internal team and external clients, ensuring clear communication and seamless coordination

• Provide mentorship, guidance, and leadership to optimize each team member's success, fostering a culture of strategic thinking and proactive problem-solving

• Lead internal and external communications with team and external stakeholders to ensure all are updated in real-time on project progress, maintaining a bird's eye view of all moving parts

• Continually enhance process efficiency by leveraging the latest project management tools and software and industry best practices, staying ahead of the curve in a fast-paced industry including best practices around implementing AI.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience working in leadership roles, managing international clients and overseeing team members, with a proven track record of anticipating and resolving potential issues before they arise

• Impeccable eye for detail while tracking the complexity of global projects, able to juggle multiple tasks and timelines without losing sight of the bigger picture

• Savvy communicator, politically astute, and natural motivator, able to navigate complex relationships and keep all stakeholders aligned and informed

• Passion for art, design, and style with proven expertise in the luxury sectors, able to understand and anticipate the needs of high-end clients

• Comfort working across multiple time zones and cultures, with the ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, global environment

• Upbeat, energetic self-starter who leads by example, inspiring others to think strategically and stay one step ahead

• based in Toronto is preferred
