The New Broadview Hotel

TAP has created an edgy grassroots art program for the New Broadview Hotel, the future cultural anchor of Toronto’s east side.

The highly anticipated 58-room boutique hotel features work by contemporary Toronto artists, along with historical works to acknowledge the site’s rich history. The hotel’s spaces are activated through a variety of permanent media including murals, works on canvas, photography and integrated installations.

Of course, we focussed on developing a curatorial nod to the most colourful aspect of the Hotel’s history as “Jilly’s,” one of Toronto’s most iconic adult entertainment venues.
