TAP developed the art program for Deloitte’s corporate fine art collection at their 420,000 sq ft national headquarters in downtown Toronto, Canada.
Deloitte’s existing art collection comprised several thousand works. TAP catalogued and appraised all pieces, made recommendations for reuse and relocation, directed the deaccession of key works, facilitated auctions with Deloitte’s BusOps team, arranged for permanent pieces to be conserved and reframed, and oversaw all new acquisitons and commissions. TAP curated hundreds of art placements for the 16-storey podium and tower, which includes revitalized works from the original collection and several new acquisitions, commissions, and site-specific installations by artists including Anne Kyyrö Quinn, Douglas Coupland, Melanie Authier, David Burdeny, Steve Driscoll, Micah Lexier, and Dennis Lin.
TAP is currently directing a large-scale art installation for the podium’s six-storey interior atrium, and is overseeing Deloitte’s national corporate fine art collection as the company embarks on a Workplace of the Future transformation in all of their regional offices across the country.
